I'm crabby

I guess I should head off to Maryland. Isn't it funny that Virginia is for Lovers, but Maryland has crabs? Do the two go hand in hand?
There is a restaurant in Annapolis with picnic tables and brown paper tablecloths. They give you a mallet and a pail of crabs and let you have at it. It is the best place to be on a Saturday afternoon in the summer, covered in Old Bay, listening to the random band that plays whilst you whale away on a dead crustacean.
I went to the Crab House in VA with my family a few years ago, and while we were contemplating which ocean creature to devour, a crab pulled a Sebastian, and tried to scuttle out the front door. They caught him and I may have eaten him, but it was kind of fun to see his attempted escape.

Hmmm, fall in love in VA, have 'relations' in DC and end up scratching at your crotch w/a vacant look on your face in Maryland? Gah.

You must be talking about Cantler's! I haven't been there in forever, it's about time to go back!!

That place in Annapolis sounds great. I say roadtrip!

You're talking about Hooters, right?

Or, should you (and Claudette?) contemplate a slightly longer road trip, there's the Barking Crab on the Boston waterfront.

That's really far, Bill. Can we all meet in the middle? Say New Jersey?
I'm actually talking about Mikes Crab House in Annapolis. I have some friends up there. We should wrastle together a group and go spend the day enjoying Maryland's capital.

Hee hee.. Right, Cluss? Maybe the key is to not have relations in DC.

Of course, New Jersey or Annapolis. I suggested Boston only in an attempt to discover whether Clussy is actually stalking me. Would the red glittery shirt dress code be optional if I were to meet you there?

You have a stalker, too? Hmm, a hot stalker in a saucy red dress. Rough life.

John Cusack has a stalker... me.. I used a fake name. Okay, not me. But I do look for him everytime I am in Chicago. I was in the bathroom of a Chi-town bar and they played "In Your Eyes" (which of course is the song from Say Anything, when he held the boombox over his head) and I really expected to come out and find him chatting up my friend at the bar. But no.

Well, I think we've established that no relations will be involved, so her predilection for roughness will be moot. Except perhaps where the crabs are concerned. But saucy she is, and me like.

Look at all this action going on in your box Buggie and I was not even aware of it... It's always the quiet ones that get the most action?

Annapolis for a 'blogger w/crabs' fest! Bill, I'm very subtle about my stalking. It's not like I don't spray paint myself in bronze coloring before passing as that statue up in Boston near your house so as to not make you uncomfortable, right?

Hmm, no relations in DC. Noted. So relations right before border of DC and maybe even right outside the other side of DC but not in DC. Maybe just not the backside of DC. yeah. That sounds about right.

That stalker that John Cusack just had restraining order served was you Buggie? Did you keep putting boom box on your head and shouting that it was "Serendipity for sure"?

Claudette - your stealth is impressive, as is your disguise! I am flattered, though, at the notion that you'd stalk me. Not uncomfortable, sorry.

Yes, no backside relations, please, DC or elsewhere. Other conditions are negotiable.

Is this going to be an anarchist plot, or is someone in charge? Haha, Buggie. Anarchist. Now you're going to get some bizarro queries ;-)

We should send out an evite. I just love evites.

You have Cusack's e-mail? You are a cool stalker.

We have a small problem, I think, with the evite. You don't have my e-mail and I don't have yours. But Marci is brave. So I'll send to her, and she can pass it along to you and red glittery girl? Will that work for you? Don't want addresses to be outed here. Except Cusack's maybe.

What makes you think Marci is so brave. I have heard her scream like a cheerleader.

Brave in the sense that she publishes her e-mail, unlike the rest of us. So she may be screaming now. But that's why I have these neat little noise-cancelling headphones.

Now, the story behind the scream? This must be good. You brought it up. Dish.

Buggie, buggie she's our girl
If she can't do it, give Clussy a whirl.

Well, sounds as if there will be some interesting relations in Annapolis. Or on the way. Unless you two just get a room.

Does this mean that I may have the attention of the pretty Latina, or will she be whirling with you?
